ProductWhich Framework Does GenMB Use? React + TypeScript for Every App
Every new GenMB app is React + TypeScript, built with Vite and styled with Tailwind CSS. There is no framework to pick. Here is what that means for your app.

One Stack for Every App
Every new GenMB app is generated as React + TypeScript, built with Vite and styled with Tailwind CSS. There is no framework choice to make, and you do not need to name a framework in your prompt. Describe the app and GenMB builds it on this stack.
GenMB used to offer Vanilla JS, plain React and React Native as well. New apps no longer use them. Apps built that way before June 2026 still open and export as they were built.
What React + TypeScript Gives You
React suits apps of every size:
- Component reusability
- Solid state management with hooks
- A large ecosystem
- Industry-standard patterns most developers know
TypeScript adds type safety on top:
- Catch errors at compile time
- Better IDE autocomplete and refactoring
- Self-documenting code
- Easier maintenance as apps grow
Vite handles the build, and Tailwind CSS handles styling, the same tools a developer would set up by hand.
What This Means for Your Prompts
You can drop phrases like "using React" or "in vanilla JavaScript" from your prompts. Spend those words on what the app should do instead:
"Build a customer management app with a searchable table, a detail view, and notes on each customer"
Mobile
GenMB builds web apps, and every app can be an installable PWA. On paid plans, a deployed app can also be downloaded as a Capacitor wrapper project: a native iOS and Android shell that loads your deployed URL. You build the APK or IPA yourself. GenMB does not generate React Native apps or submit to app stores.
Exported Code
When you export an app, you get a standard React + TypeScript project with Vite configuration. Run npm install, then npm run dev, in any editor.
Build your app with GenMB free. No credit card needed.
